Paper Developing
1. developing paper negativesPaper taken directly from your pinhole camera is developed in the darkroom to create a negative paper image.

A contact print is then processed to create a positive print of the negative retrieved from your camera.
2. THE Enlarger* Note on the enlarger is with the note on Photograms
For our purposes in creating a contact print, we will simply be using the enlarger for a direct/stable, close light source. We will learn more on the function of the enlarger in the coming weeks. |
3. Creating a Test StripA test strip is created to determine the exposure time your paper needs to create your positive image.
